On June 5, more than 600 progressive Jews and allies from across the country came together in Washington, D.C. to harness the power of the Jewish movement for justice in America.
Breaking news: an ambitious criminal justice reform bill could move forward in the Senate, but we must take action this week. The Sentencing Reform and Corrections Act is an incredible opportunity to reduce mass incarceration, one of the great drivers of systemic racial injustice in our country. Bend the Arc is asking all of our supporters to contact their Senators to help bring the bill to a vote on the floor, where it would likely pass.
On Thursday, April 14, Jews of all ages joined protests, rallies, and strikes in seven cities to demand a $15 federal minimum wage and the right of workers to form a union. Coming on the heels of historic victories in California and New York, the day of action had a strong and triumphant tone.
