Local Rabbis Urge Sen. Jeffrey Klein to Support 'Raise the Age'

New York, NY – Local rabbis released a letter today addressed to New York State Sen. and Independent Democratic Conference Leader Jeffrey Klein (D-District 34) urging him to support passage of the most comprehensive version of ‘Raise the Age’ in the New York State budget bill. Support for ‘Raise the Age’ legislation has garnered significant momentum since Governor Cuomo included legislation in his budget in January. Earlier this month, the Assembly included legislation in its one-house budget and the Senate included support for ‘Raise the Age’ in its one-house resolution.
