We will meet with Congresswoman Frederica S. Wilson to encourage her to #DefundHate by committing to vote against increases in government spending on new detention facilities, new corrupt ICE/CBP agents, and of course, the border wall. Defund Hate is a group of progressive political organizations who work to stop the criminalization and abuse of immigrants, particularly around the detention/deportation machine. Bend the Arc is proud to be a Jewish voice in this coalition.
