New York – In response to reports about the antisemitic, neo-Nazi views of Patrick Little, the leading Republican candidate in the 2018 California U.S. Senate race, Stosh Cotler, CEO of Bend the Arc Jewish Action, released the following statement:

“The viciously antisemitic views and neo-Nazi rhetoric expressed by individuals like Patrick Little don’t belong on the ballot in America in 2018, they belong in the trash heap of human history. Sadly, while Little’s beliefs have no place in our public discourse, his brand of hatred is now an active and growing part of our political landscape; candidates with these abhorrent beliefs are now the face of the Republican ticket in California and Illinois.

“This is Donald Trump’s Republican Party: A place where antisemitism and racism find a welcoming home. A place where hatred of Jews,Muslims, immigrants and people of color is not just accepted, not just normalized, but celebrated. Americans must condemn all candidates who express these bigoted views toward any segment of our society. We are committed to defeating Trump-ism, the xenophobia it fosters and inspires, and the dangerous, racist agenda it promotes.”
