Seattle Moral Minyan – Bystander Intervention Training

Description

In our political climate it is important now, more than ever, to stand in solidarity with those most marginalized in our society. As Jews, we can seek wisdom from our Jewish traditions and social movements to help us stand up and fight for justice and equality.

Join us for interactive workshop that will create a safe space for developing and sharing ideas about how to safely and effectively interrupt racism, sexism, Islamophobia and other types of harassment when you see it occurring in public spaces. Our speaker, Max Kepler, will be modeling this training after a training she participated in at the 2015 Gender Odyssey in Seattle.

We hope to see you there!
