Congress: Act immediately to convict Trump and hold your colleagues accountable for inciting violence

The House of Representatives impeached President Trump for the second time — one week after he and his enablers incited a violent attack on our country and on our people.

But this is just the first step. To defend democracy, we must send a clear message to the white nationalist movement that he emboldened: they are not welcome in the halls of our nation’s capital, or anywhere else.

Every person who instigated this insurrection — from Trump to the members of Congress — must be held accountable.

That’s why we’re calling on Congress to take these immediate actions:

Convict Trump and bar him from ever running for office again.
Support the investigation and possible expulsion of every member of Congress who violated their oath of office by trying to reverse an election.
