Texas’s racist Attorney General, Ken Paxton, is undermining voting rights and immigrant justice organizing. He recently ordered a purge of nearly a million voters from Texas voter rolls — likely disproportionately affecting Latinx, African American, and Asian American citizens — as well as raids and investigations of prominent immigrant justice organizational leaders in an attempt to intimidate them.
As American Jews, we know how dangerous this is. We won’t stand by while our immigrant family is targeted by such cruel tactics.
