JOC Shabbat

Description
Self-identified Jews of Color, multi-racial and mixed race Jews are invited to come together for a community-building Shabbat hosted by Bekkah Scharf. We hope to connect with each other in part by reflecting on identity, sharing our experience as Jews of Color (JOC) with other JOCs, and building community together. Program begins at 7 PM, however you're encouraged to come early to candle lighting at 6:00 PM. Vegetarian dinner will be provided.

This Shabbat dinner is an exclusive space for Jews of Color, multi-racial and mixed race Jews. If you have any questions about the intentionality behind the space, please contact Vince at [email protected]

RSVP: Please RSVP at https://goo.gl/pLnuS7. This is so that OneTable can pay for the food. If you would like to come but do not want to sign up for a OneTable account, please bring a dish to share. If you have any accessibility needs, dietary restrictions, and whether you will need childcare, please also e-mail [email protected] or comment on this event. If you have particular topics you'd like to be included in the programming, please do include that as well.
