Bend the Arc Louisville Community Meeting

Description

As Louisville Jews, we rise in solidarity with Black Lives Matter Louisville. Between the passage of Breonna’s Law banning no-knock warrants, the 911 call being released, and the charges against Kenneth Walker being dropped-- progress has been made due to the demands of the people. But, the officers who killed Breonna Taylor are still on the job and there’s much more progress to be made in the pursuit of racial justice in Louisville.

We invite you to join us on Sunday, June 28th at 4 pm to learn more about our work and how you can take action with us at this moment. Register by Wednesday, June 24th for our first Bend the Arc: Louisville community meeting and we will send you a Zoom link closer to the day of the event.

And we want to hear from you - what feels most urgent at this moment? How can we as Jews, both white and Jews of color, show up for Black lives? Why do you show up to this work?

As Bend the Arc: Louisville, our work is just beginning, and we look forward to connecting with you in the coming weeks and months to defend Black lives and to create a multi-racial democracy where we are all free and safe.
