May Jewish Practices for Justice Call: Staying Focused for Election Season

Description

What are the inner impediments to effective social justice activism? How can mindfulness tools, Jewish rituals and daily practices expand our awareness, give us more choice and greater clarity in our work?

In our Interrupt Trump 2018 campaign, Bend the Arc member
s are going to collectively have 100,000 conversations before election day with voters in a dozen strategic Congressional districts  where we can best win the House and stop the spread of Trumpism.

Rabbi Sheila Peltz Weinberg, nationally known mindfulness teacher, will offer us frameworks and practices for how to powerfully, sustainably, and effectively approach some of the most challenging and vital parts of organizing.
