As American Jews and allies, we believe Jewish safety and immigrant safety are intertwined.
Since Trump took office, far too many of our immigrant neighbors have been violently detained, deported, and killed. The cruelty must stop. We urge members of Congress to:

Pass pathways to citizenship for as many immigrants as possible without compromises that harm other immigrants

Revoke ICE and CBP slush funds that fuel violence in our communities

Withhold additional money for ICE and Border Patrol until transformative changes to immigration enforcement are made

Conduct robust oversight and investigations on Trump’s immigration policies
