Email Congress: No More Funding for ICE

Email Congress: No More Funding for ICE

In January, federal immigration officers murdered Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti in Minneapolis, MN, and shot two people in Portland, OR. In 2025, 32 people were killed in ICE custody, the deadliest year on record. This year, 14 people have already died in ICE custody.

We have the power to prevent billions more dollars from flowing to ICE and Border Patrol. Right now, Congress is actively negotiating ICE’s budget for the rest of this year and simultaneously trying to use the budget reconciliation process to give ICE three more years worth of funding all at once. Our movement won this fight in the Senate — Republicans caved and passed a bill to end the temporary Department of Homeland Security (DHS) shutdown without any more money for ICE or Border Patrol.

But House Republicans are playing political games and refusing to vote on the unanimously-passed Senate bill until Congress passes more money for ICE.

Use our easy tool to urge your members of Congress to support the Senate bill to fund DHS without any additional funding for ICE and CBP, and oppose sending more money to ICE and Border Patrol through reconciliation.
