On January 7, ICE agents shot and killed 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good, a wife and mother of three, in Minneapolis, MN. Just a day later, agents shot two people in Portland, OR. Then on January 24 in Minneapolis, Border Patrol agents executed 37-year-old Alex Pretti, an ICU nurse at a veterans hospital. In 2025, 32 people were killed in ICE custody, the deadliest year on record.
