With Trump carrying out his promises to tear families apart and carry out a cruel and inhumane federal deportation agenda, it is more crucial than ever for New York state legislators to stand up and protect ALL New Yorkers. It is imperative that New York not be complicit in Trump’s mass deportation agenda.
If passed, the New York for All Act (NY4All) would prohibit all local law enforcement and state agencies from conspiring with ICE and Border Patrol. This common-sense legislation protects immigrant New Yorkers' rights and enhances public safety for everyone by ensuring state and local government employees across New York, including law enforcement officers, do not divert local resources to enable immigration enforcement.
