Every year for Passover, Jews across the country gather to complete the mitzvah, or blessing, of retelling the story of The Exodus, the story of how we got free. This year, we as the Bend the Arc New York chapters in Riverdale and Long Island want to do this mitzvah and take action together.
Join us April 3 at 7PM for our Passover Power Hour for Parole Justice. We will be learning about the connections between Passover and the parole justice campaign led by our partners at RAPP (Release Aging People From Prison), and taking action by calling our legislators to demand that they pass a package of comprehensive reforms that promote justice and safe communities.
