Phone Bank with Pittsburgh Jewish Community (online)

Description

Yesterday, a gunman slaughtered eleven members of the Pittsburgh Jewish community during Sabbath morning prayers.

At the request of the Pittsburgh Moral Minyan, join this online phone bank to talk to voters in Pennsylvania about the upcoming midterm election, our best opportunity to interrupt the violence Trump and his enablers in Congress have wrought on our communities.

You'll be able to join the phone bank from wherever you are (you just need a computer and a phone).

"We lost eleven family members, friends, co-congregants, and neighbors to violence powered by white nationalism, antisemitism, and hatred of immigrants and refugees.

The pain for our community is only just beginning. But as exhausted and horrified and anguished as we are, we have the strength of our entire Pittsburgh community to call on–a truly diverse assembly of people of many faiths, genders and ethnicities.

Today we grieve and mourn, tomorrow we get back to work."
