For the last three years, Bend the Arc’s Project Shamash has been piloting an exciting new approach to advance racial equity in our communities and Jewish institutions in the Bay Area.

As it comes time for this pilot to end, we want to invite you to join us for a special Project Shamash closing event and celebration on May 11 — read on for more details below!

✨ Project Shamsh Pilot Wrap-Up & Celebration ✨

You’ll receive an invitation and sign-up link from us soon. For now, please save the date for this event on your calendar!

When: Thursday, May 11, 6:00 - 7:30pm PT

Where: In-person in the Bay Area & online via Zoom

What: A closing event to celebrate Project Shamash — the relationships we’ve built, the changes we’ve made in our Jewish community, and the learnings we’ll carry forward. Attendees will hear from Bend the Arc CEO Jamie Beran, Board Chair Ginna Green, Project Shamash Program Director Analucía Lopezrevoredo, and program participants as we share reflections, findings, and recommendations for continuing to move forward eco-systemic race equity transformation in the Bay Area and beyond.

Who: All are welcome to join!

Project Shamash has made an impact in the Bay Area through three unique areas of work over the last three years — an Organizational Change Cohort (OCC), a Jews of Color Professionals Network (JOCPN), and Community Programs. And, after much learning, we’re excited to share our discoveries with you!

Keep an eye out for more information, including a link to sign up, coming your way soon.

Warmly,

Rachèl Laforest
Chief Program Officer, Bend the Arc
