Tell Senate Majority Leader Jake Corman: Call a Vote to Investigate Joseph Gale

Add your voice

After years of fear-mongering and hateful rhetoric, Montgomery County Commissioner Joseph Gale has once again shown that he is not fit to serve.  Rather than take action to dismantle systemic racism, he has chosen to stoke fear and divisiveness, calling Black Lives Matter a “radical left-wing hate group.”

As Pennsylvanians standing in solidarity with PA Women Rise (PWR) and other Black and Brown community leaders, we support actions in the General Assembly of Pennsylvania to hold Commissioner Gale accountable for his hateful speech. We support PA State Senate Resolution 334 — The People’s Resolution to investigate Joseph Gale for Constitutional and ethical violations. As far as we are concerned, the only appropriate course of action is for Mr. Gale to resign in disgrace. Since he is unwilling to do so, the General Assembly must take action. We demand State Senate Majority Leader Jake Corman, in his role as Chair of the Pennsylvania Senate Rules Committee, call a vote on Resolution 334.

The email will be sent to State Senate Majority Leader Jake Corman's Chief of Staff, Scott Sikorski.
