Description
Join with other Los Angeles Jews to stand with Dreamers and say Let My People Stay. We will give Senator Feinstein the message that Los Angeles Jews want her to stand tough for a clean Dream Act.
Angelenos were recently part of the National Let My People Stay, a gathering of Jews from across the country in Washington, DC for a historic Jewish civil disobedience in support of a clean #DreamActNOW, responding to the requests and powerful moral leadership of Dreamers. Inspired by this powerful action, Los Angeles Jews and allies are gathering this Tuesday to express commitment to justice for immigrants. The urgency to fight for Dreamers continues at least until February 8, as 122 Dreamers lose their status daily, with 16,000 DACA recipients having lost their status and protections since the announcement of DACA’s end.
As Jews, we've seen what happens when those in power scapegoat immigrant communities — and we refuse to be silent now. ALL are welcome to join us as we unequivocally say #LetMyPeopleStay and stand together.
