The Moral Minyan Project

To overcome this political moment we need to organize together.

Learn more about moral minyans

My husband and I thought an activist would come and lead us after we cleaned the living room. We realized WE had to make this happen. ‘Us??’ But we decided to step up, that now is the time to stretch ourselves. We got a well-thought-out agenda and help preparing. We had a small but very passionate, engaged group of people attend. We're working on next steps and connecting with others in the Bay Area.

Get involved

As Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said, inspired by Reverend Theodore Parker, “The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice.” We know that change doesn’t happen on its own — we each have a role to play. Together we:

Stand with communities under attack

When it comes to attacks on immigrants, our communities, and our democracy, we’ve seen this before. We won’t turn away or be silent — we work in solidarity to fight terrible legislation and policies.

Hold local elected officials to account

If politicians are going to enable the immoral agenda of the Trump administration and the Republican Party, we’re going to hold them accountable. And we won’t hesitate to replace them.

Win local progressive victories

We have a long-term vision of what this country can be, and we’re mobilizing in cities and states across the country to win progressive legislation and policies, like criminal justice reform and economic equity.
