As a cancer patient, Trump's budget bill not only affects my treatment and possible future treatment, but the treatment of others, including children affected by cancer. As a teacher of children of special needs, this bill will directly impact my families and the benefits they receive to help them access occupational therapists, ABA professionals, and specialized care and equipment. It impacts access to SNAP benefits, when time and resources are already strained for these families. Lastly, it separates families that came here to find a better way of life.
