I only have one wage coming in via my husband, and our only health insurance we can afford is Tricare Prime RET through my husband's 22 year USAF military service. The unmet need is already at crisis point in America and very much in my area of Virginia. It will get worse. And if we lose democracy we lose much more than just money and social security. We lose humanity and everything America once stood and fought for. The working class families. This isn't a land of the free anymore and being brave is no longer enough to survive. I live in fear of what comes next. What do I do to survive if my husband loses his government job? Who will help us then?
