On March 5, DACA expires and Dreamers lose their protections from deportation. American Jews are coming to DC to join brave immigrant activists who will be gathering to shine a light on this moral crisis and demand action from Congress. Inspired by the ancient cry of our ancestors seeking liberation, we will demand: “Let My People Stay.”
This action is being organized by United We Dream, in partnership with Bend the Arc Jewish Action, the Center for Popular Democracy, The Women’s March, MPower Change, FIRM/Center for Community Change, National Domestic Workers Alliance, Church World Service, Undocublack and many more.
This action will include a march and rally with no risk of arrest, and also the option to participate in civil disobedience with a risk of arrest.
We will be gathering Jewish participants for meaningful time together with food, song, and more either before or after (tbd).
