Addressing antisemitism should also include the struggle against prejudicial behavior against other minorities, as bigotry and ignorance stems from the same rancid place in some peoples’ minds. The seemingly exclusive focus on Jew hatred conceals the need to address prejudice in society, and when Jewish organizations — and the government — can widen their focus, then we serve the greater purpose of prejudice reduction and coalition building with other groups. I think that is a mighty way to bend the arc.
