Context: 

For the past year, 40 Jeremiah Fellows have been learning how to organize for freedom, justice, and progressive change through a training program for young Jewish progressives by Bend the Arc: A Jewish Partnership for Justice.

As part of their closing retreat this Sunday, November 10, the Fellows are planning a big digital action to tell members of Congress why it’s so important that we defund ICE and CBP, and they are asking for the help of our community to make it a success. 

Here’s how: 

         1. Download and print out this poster. 
         2. Fill in the blank with a sentence that reflects your vision for a future where we #DefundHate. Take a photo of yourself holding the sign!
         3. ON SUNDAY, NOV 10: Post the photo to social media using the hashtags #DefundHate and #DreamingofFreedom, and link to www.bendthearc.us/defundhate

Your photographs will help Jeremiahs demonstrate the Jewish call for immigrant justice and to invite more people to write their members of Congress.
