Michigan, AIPAC, and my conversations with voters

Michigan, AIPAC, and my conversations with voters

October 20, 2026

AIPAC just started spending money again in Michigan — targeting 130,000 Jewish voters with mailers about Abdul El-Sayed.1

That’s why I’m flying to Michigan again for this first weekend of early voting — to do more trainings for Seed the Vote’s canvassers on how to talk about antisemitism and AIPAC.

Jewish voters could make all the difference in Michigan, and they need real conversations to combat dark money's influence. But sending canvassers to Jewish neighborhoods without an understanding of antisemitism could make divisions worse.

I need your help to fund more trainings on antisemitism as AIPAC floods Michigan with their messages of fear and division.

Can you support this urgent work between now and Election Day with a gift of $18?

Canvassing in Michigan

As a Jew, I refuse to let AIPAC’s spending influence Jewish voters into helping MAGA Mike Rogers win not just Michigan but the Senate.2

At the same time, I know this race has been hard for many Jewish people to navigate, bringing up conflict and fear around Israel/Palestine and what keeps us safe.

But our strategy is working. Our informed conversations at the doors are changing nos to maybes, and maybes to yeses. Our tools are helping voters unpack AIPAC’s role in this election.

Donate $18 to fund critical trainings on AIPAC and antisemitism for canvassers — so they can speak to Michigan Jews about how a win for El-Sayed is a win for Jewish safety.

With gratitude,
