Right now, Michigan has one of the highest election risk scores — second only to Georgia.1
The combination of close races, bad actors, and systemic weaknesses means Michigan needs our support.
There are two ways you can plug in:
☎️ JOIN FROM ANYWHERE: This Wednesday, 6-8pm ET on Zoom, help recruit nonpartisan poll monitors to stop voter suppression with Detroit Jews for Justice and Bend the Arc: A Jewish Partnership for Justice.
🚪 JOIN ME IN DETROIT THE FIRST WEEKEND OF EARLY VOTING: Knock doors this weekend with Bend the Arc and our partners, Seed the Vote and Jews for Abdul, October 23rd - 25th, for deep canvassing conversations with Jewish voters about our shared hopes and fears, and why we support Abdul El-Sayed for Senate. (We have resources to help you get there!)
I'll be on-the-ground for the start of early voting in Michigan and I’d love for you to join me and our Bend the Arc contingent. We'll have an inspiring weekend of living our Jewish values with urgency and empathy as we canvass the most Jewish neighborhoods in and around Detroit.
Here are the links again to take action this week: phonebank from anywhere on Wednesday or knock doors in Detroit.
I am grateful to do this work with you,
Eli Williams-Szenes
Director of Advocacy and Political Affairs, Bend the Arc
