National Teach-In

National Teach-In

On June 24, Bend the Arc is organizing a national day of canvassing to honor the legacies of voting rights activists James Chaney, Andrew Goodman, and Michael Schwerner — an African American Christian and two white Jews — who were murdered by the KKK on June 21, 1964 for registering and educating African American voters in Mississippi.

But before we hit the streets, we’re hosting a national livestream to learn, build community, and prepare for action together. Can you join us?

[ONLINE] National Teach-In: The Jewish history
of rejecting bigotry at the polls
With special guests David Goodman (Andrew Goodman’s brother),
Yavilah McCoy (racial justice trainer and activist),
and Stosh Cotler (Bend the Arc CEO)

Sunday, June 3rd

4pm ET / 1pm PT
