Our big election reportback: photos, numbers, stories, and more

November 06, 2026

Shabbat shalom! I’m still kvelling over what our movement did together. With so much on the line, we helped:

➡️ Flip the House and the Senate
➡️ Win the chance to renew our democracy
➡️ Defeat Trump, MAGA, AIPAC, and other dark money groups around the country

Thank you for making Bend the Arc a political home. I am so proud of the work we did together, and I hope you are too!

Read on for slides and stories of our collective election impact, then RSVP to join me on Tuesday, 11/10, to dig into the Jewish story of the 2026 midterms.

Our election impact: 19 states, 28 endorsements, 80 media hits, 170 poll protectors recruited, 6,000 postcards sent, 24,000 calls made.

In Michigan, where 130,000 Jewish voters had the power to get Dr. Abdul El-Sayed elected to the Senate, AIPAC and other dark money groups spent millions targeting Jewish communities with Islamophobic lies, fear, and division.1

We responded by resourcing Michigan Jews for Democracy’s grassroots organizing and sign-on letter.2 We supported houseparties for Jewish voters featuring speakers like Rep. Becca Balint, Brad Lander, and Andy Levin. We created viral videos to counter AIPAC’s smear campaign against El-Sayed. We trained hundreds of Michigan canvassers in how to talk about AIPAC in this election, ensuring they had the tools they needed for compassionate and knowledgeable conversations with Jewish voters.

Our work was covered by outlets like the New York Times, The American Prospect, Jewish Currents, and NPR — a testament to how Bend the Arc helped shape the Jewish narrative in this key race.3,4,5,6

And it worked! In January, Abdul El-Sayed will take his vision of healthcare for all to Washington, where he will fight for all of us.

In the face of Trump’s desperate election interference attempts, we mobilized to protect election infrastructure in high-risk jurisdictions.

Supporters like you joined and hosted 30 phonebanks and 51 postcard parties to send information to voters targeted by racist disenfranchisement efforts.

We made more than 24,000 calls, reached thousands of voters, got out the vote, and recruited 170+ poll workers and monitors — the backbone of our election system. We worked closely with over 30 partner organizations, including Carolina Jews for Justice, Detroit Jews for Justice, Dayenu, and the Worker’s Circle to maximize our Jewish impact in this election.

Together, we prevented authoritarian interference in the election and ensured that every vote could be cast and counted. No violence, no election interference. Only democracy at work.

None of this would have been possible without people like you. Thank you.

That’s why I hope you’ll join me next Tuesday, November 10, at 7pm ET to celebrate our wins, analyze the results, and see where we go from here. Sign up now for “The Jewish Story of the 2026 Midterm Elections.”
