Friends, don’t to wait until November to support progressive victories and protect our elections. Next week, Bend the Arc members are calling fellow Jews to recruit poll workers and poll monitors, the backbone of our electoral system! Can you join a two-hour shift? It’ll be joyful, connective, and you’ll get all the training you need.
Recruiting poll workers might not be top of mind when you’re thinking about how to stop Trump’s desperate attempts at election interference.
But here’s what you might not know:
- Without poll workers, people can’t vote.
- It takes about 1 million poll workers to run an election.
- Election administrators don’t have the resources to recruit as many people as they need.
There is a direct link between poll workers and a functioning electoral system. And we need your help to call and recruit fellow Bend the Arc members in critical states like Pennsylvania, Ohio, and North Carolina.
