This weekend, anti-ICE protests spread nationwide. From small towns to major cities, neighbors came out against armed, masked agents tearing apart our families and communities.1
Now we take this fight to Congress, which is considering increasing ICE’s budget by billions of dollars.2
Use our tool to email your member of Congress today to say: not one more dollar for ICE.
Congress is negotiating the budget this week, with the vote deadline coming up fast on January 30th. Here’s what we and the broader immigrants and civil rights movement are demanding:
- No new funding for ICE or Border Patrol
- More restrictions and accountability for ICE’s conduct
- Limits on the Department of Homeland Security’s ability to transfer and reprogram funding to throw more immigrants into detention
Because any increase in funding for Trump’s inhumane immigration system will mean more family separations, civilian deaths, and mass detention and deportation.
To honor Renee Nicole Good and all who have lost their lives at the hands of ICE and CBP brutality, we are called to action and to demand justice.
Email your Members of Congress as they start negotiations this week: No more funding for ICE.
