As we prepare for Passover, we’re holding the dream of liberation amidst deep pain. We’re heartbroken at the violent attacks against our Asian American family. We’re fighting with our partners to make a pathway to citizenship real for 11 million people. We’re organizing for racial justice. We’re building a democracy where everyone’s voice counts.

In every generation we retell the story of Passover as if we ourselves are leaving Mitzrayim, the narrow place. But how do we bring all the meaning of this moment to our virtual Seders in Zoom? We’ve got you covered.

This year, we partnered with Jewish artists and designers to help make this virtual Passover a moment of joy, connection, and meaningful reflection. We hope you’ll consider making a generous donation to download our new Zoom Seder Kit — you won’t just be bringing some style to your Seder, you’ll be powering Bend the Arc’s work for our collective liberation.

The Zoom Seder Kit includes:

🌊 Two Zoom backgrounds — split the the Red Sea or bring the purpose of protest to your Seder.
🎭 Two video filters — move your hand to add a Dayenu (“it would have been enough”) to any moment or turn yourself into a Hillel sandwich (cats were already covered).
Instructions — everything you need to know to use your Passover Zoom backgrounds and filters.

If you’re not able to donate please download these offerings at no cost here.

Plus, the leaders of Bend the Arc’s Ritual Committee have assembled a Liberation Haggadah you can use to ground your Seder in themes of justice and freedom for all:

As we hold the complexity and range of emotions of this moment — joy and triumph, reflection, weight and sadness, hope — we are grateful to be building a new future together, one where all of us are safe and free.

With gratitude,
The Bend the Arc team
