I’ll be at the People’s March at our nation’s capital this Saturday — are you joining in D.C. or at a local march?
The message of the People’s March this year is that no matter what the incoming Trump Administration tries, we will stand for solidarity, safety, and a future we all deserve.

What to expect: On Saturday at People’s Marches across the country, you’ll hear from inspiring speakers, access resources for long-term resistance, and join trainings to equip yourself with the tools to protect your community and defend our freedoms.
Because this isn’t just a march.
It’s a movement that builds strength, unity, and action through joyful and determined resistance.
It’s a movement that protects immigrants, trans people, Black people, our Jewish community, our climate, women, our schools, and our healthcare.
It’s a movement to defend our very democracy, the levers by which all of us fight for the future we deserve.
It’s a movement that shows the incoming administration and our fellow Americans that we are full-throated in our fight for a United States where every single one of us is free and where the future we all deserve is possible.
Join me as a Jew for Democracy at the People’s March this Saturday in cities across the country. Together we will march forward. For all of us.

PS: At the D.C. march, we will gather outdoors at a kickoff location to hold a Shabbat ritual and morning service. Sign on, and we’ll send you location details soon. At Bend the Arc, we have an organizational practice of honoring Shabbat, but we occasionally invite people to important Saturday events like this one. We invite you to participate if it’s within your Shabbat practice. Many Bend the Arc supporters will be out wearing tallit and kippot, saying the morning prayers, and we welcome those of you who feel able to join us in this expression of community.
