In this moment, our country and our Jewish community stand at a crossroads. Will we stand by in silence as white nationalism, anti-immigrant xenophobia, and antisemitism tear us apart? Or will we rise up to fight for a future where we are all safe?

At Bend the Arc we believe in the next generation of young Jewish activists who are rising up in this moment. That’s why we’re expanding our Jeremiah Fellowship even further this year, doubling from 8 to 16 cities all across the country.

What is the Jeremiah Fellowship?

Now more than ever, our movement needs passionate young adult Jewish leaders to come forward and learn the skills needed to organize and mobilize communities around the country for progressive change.

The second-ever national cohort of Jeremiah fellows will participate in a five-month intensive, experiential leadership training program in community organizing. Issue campaigns, public action, and building a grassroots network of action-takers in each city teach fellows to think strategically, mobilize their community, and foster public leadership— alongside 80 peers from across the country.

Fellows will travel twice a year for in-person training from skilled organizers and activists, learn together through online sessions, and receive individualized coaching tailored for their city. The program will run from April to August 2020, with two big in-person gatherings to start and end, as well as participation at Bend the Arc’s 2020 conference.
