TODAY: Jewish Americans Lead National Solidarity Rally for Pittsburgh

Washington – Today, Sunday, October 28, Jewish Americans and their allies will hold a National Solidarity Rally outside the White House to honor the victims of yesterday’s deadly shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, PA and bring a set of demands from Jewish people in Pittsburgh to the White House. Wearing black ribbons, a traditional Jewish mourning ritual, participants will gather to show that the key to collective safety for those whose lives are threatened by white nationalism – Jews, Muslims, Sikhs, immigrants, people of color, LGBTQ people – lies in our unity and solidarity.
