Pittsburgh, PA – Today, Tuesday, October 30, leaders of the Pittsburgh Jewish community and their allies will hold a unity gathering and march to honor the victims of the Tree of Life shooting and to call attention to President Trump’s failure to denounce white nationalism ahead of his visit to Pittsburgh. The participants will march in unity and solidarity, join in public mourning ritual, and hear from several speakers.
Participants will make clear that the key to the collective safety for those whose lives are threatened by white nationalism – Jews, Muslims, Sikhs, immigrants, people of color, the LGBTQ community – lies in our unity and solidarity, and this President cannot be trusted to protect us.
