Core Leader Skills Training: Partnerships

Description

*Automatic RSVPs for this event are no longer being accepted online - but we'd still love to have you attend if you're interested. Please contact Talia Jaffe at [email protected] for the link.*

We know that to win our vision of a just and equitable United States, we cannot organize alone. Join us on Sunday, May 8 at 10am PT/1pm ET for a training about building strong relationships in our movement work. Together we’ll explore developing and deepening relationships with movement partners, how to show up with a race equity lens in coalitions, and practice skills to support connecting and maintaining these relationships.

This training will be facilitated by Sophia Lanza-Weil (she/her/hers), who brings two decades of organizing experience that spans labor, community, interfaith, and electoral campaigns. A former Bend the Arc organizer, she is excited to support the national strategy in this guest-facilitator capacity. When Sophia isn't organizing, she creates theatre that's queer, political, and full of puppetry.

This training is part of our Core Leader Training Series, which also includes Strategic Campaigning and the Arc of Escalation (April 10), Storytelling (June 12), and 1:1s (June 19).
