This year — and over the last four years — we came together as a movement to do something unprecedented: we removed white nationalists from the White House. This fight was about more than electing a new president. It was about renewing our democracy and winning the chance to build a new future together.
In 2016 we led the only national Jewish effort to stop Trump.
In 2020 we led the largest Jewish grassroots mobilization to remove Donald Trump and his enablers from office — and won.
Together, we demonstrated that we have the power to bend the arc toward justice. Now we begin the next chapter. We’re not only ready to repair the damage that Trump did, but we are committed to rooting out centuries of systemic oppression in order to build an America we’ve never seen.
This weekend, we helped break the story of Kelly Loeffler (who is running for one of Georgia’s Senate seats) posing with Chester Doles, a former KKK leader who runs the white supremacist American Patriots USA. Our tweet had 14 million impressions and was covered by Newsweek and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
But we’re not just exposing politicians who enable white nationalism. We’re also showing up to elect leaders who can build a more just country. Bend the Arc leaders in Atlanta are doing banner drops, organizing phone banks and events, and speaking in the media to support Rev. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff on behalf of the Jewish community in Georgia.

We have big wins to celebrate, but we know we have more to do to repair the harm of the last four years, confront the reality of the last 400 years, and build the multiracial democracy we still believe is possible in this country.
In the coming months, we’ll keep working to take on white nationalism and build a country for all of us by:
- Supporting and showing up alongside out partners in the Movement for Black Lives, and advocating for the racial equity to be centered in economic recovery and all policies;
- Fighting alongside our immigrant and Muslim neighbors for lasting protections and civil rights;
- Rejecting the mainstreaming of white nationalism and confronting those who use antisemitism to manufacture fear and division; and
- Deepening political education, leadership development, and mobilization in the Jewish community.
