I’m not going to pretend that there’s a singular solution to the crises we are facing today. But I do know one thing. This moment requires fighters — knock-down, drag-out fighters who will show up for us from day one.
That’s why I’m proud to introduce you to Bend the Arc: Jewish Action’s first new endorsees for 2026: Rep. Delia Ramirez (IL-03), Rep. Maxwell Frost (FL-10), and Robert Peters (IL-02).
Starting now, we are throwing down to help these champions win their midterm races, defeat the MAGA movement, and protect our democracy. Can you join me in making a gift of $5, $10, or $18 so that these progressive fighters can start 2026 from a place of power?
Here’s why these three candidates deserve our support now:
Rep. Delia Ramirez (IL-03) is the first and only Latina Congresswoman in the Midwest. She's a true fighter who has been on the frontlines of the work to keep Trump from taking over Chicago. In Congress, she consistently introduces legislation to take on the biggest fights of our day, from campaign finance reform to taxing the rich to protecting birthright citizenship.
Rep. Maxwell Frost (FL-10) is first and foremost an organizer, which means he knows how to make and leverage relationships to secure wins for the issues that matter most. He has been a leader in the fight to stop gun violence and redirect resources towards healthcare, and one of the most prominent progressive voices in the Democratic party as a co-chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus.
Robert Peters (IL-02) will be new to Congress, but he's not new to the fight. In the Illinois Senate, he's one of the most effective legislators, working for public safety and affordability. As a long-time progressive Jewish organizer, Robert will be a leader for our Jewish values of justice and liberation in Congress. And, he’ll be the first-ever Jew of Color in Congress!
The 2026 fight for Congress has already begun. Rush a donation today to ensure that Bend the Arc can help Rep. Ramirez, Rep. Frost, Robert Peters, and other fighters like them win their races — so that they can fight for all of us in Washington.
In solidarity,
Eli Williams-Szenes
