As a Haitian Jew, the weeks since the debate have broken my heart — watching the immigrant communities in Springfield keep their children home while daily bomb threats are called in to schools and supermarkets.¹

Then yesterday, at a campaign event on antisemitism, Trump said that if he loses, ‘the Jewish people would have a lot to do’ with it.²

With the yahrzeit of the Tree of Life shooting weeks away, I am enraged that Trump would continue to put immigrants and Jews in danger in this way. For both my Jewish and Haitian family, and for all of our safety and freedoms, I am committed to defeating Trump.
