I wanted to share an update on my email from last week:
26,000 Jews have already signed the Jews for Food Aid for People in Gaza petition, including nearly 800 Rabbis and clergy.
And together, the coalition of 100 Jewish congregations, synagogues, and organizations, including Bend the Arc, has helped raise over $218,000 of the nearly $500,000 donated to Gaza Soup Kitchen.
Our Jewish communities are uniting to end the starvation in Gaza and momentum is growing. Yesterday, Bend the Arc joined Ruth Messinger, Rabbi Jill Jacobs of T’ruah, Brad Lander, and more Jewish leaders at Trump Hotel in New York City to say no more starvation in Gaza. Thousands attended and dozens were arrested.

Rabbis say Mourner’s Kaddish at Trump Hotel in New York City yesterday
Forced starvation will not free hostages, end war, or keep any of our communities safer — abroad or here at home.
We urge you to continue signing up your Jewish friends, congregations, and organizations to end the blockade of food and aid at foodaidforgaza.org. Real lives depend on it.
In solidarity,
Jamie Beran
CEO, Bend the Arc
