We are still processing yesterday’s horrifying news out of Minneapolis. ICE shot and killed Renee Nicole Good, a wife and mother, U.S. citizen, and beloved community member. She was murdered in cold blood for supporting her neighbors amidst ICE’s reign of terror.
We are furious, and we are grieving.
Together, we’re channeling our rage into action. Join our movement TONIGHT at 8pm ET / 5pm PT to hear from local and national leaders, and learn about concrete next steps to fight the Trump regime’s latest escalation against our communities.
Rapid Response Call: ICE Killing and Lawlessness in Minneapolis
TONIGHT: Thursday, January 8
8–9pm ET / 5–6pm PT, on Zoom
Under Trump’s cruel agenda, masked agents brutalize our immigrant communities and those who rise up alongside them. ICE and CBP commit violence with impunity while the Trump regime tells shameless lies to defend their actions.
MAGA counts on violence to make us afraid. To turn us against our neighbors. To distract from their own failures to address affordability, healthcare, and other crises in our country. But we refuse to look away, and we refuse to be divided.
Our hearts are broken. We are mourning Renee, the 26 people murdered by U.S. immigration officers in 2025, and the hundreds more since 2010.1
In our Jewish tradition, we mark a loss by saying,
זיכרונם לברכה
Zichronam livracha, May their memory be a blessing
May all of their memories be for a blessing and a revolution. May these horrific losses push us to do even more in our fight for the better world we know is possible.
I hope you’ll join us for tonight’s rapid response call. RSVP here to sign up, and stay tuned for more updates soon on additional ways to take action this weekend.
In solidarity, grief, and rage,
