At yesterday’s protest in Washington DC, I saw the largest and loudest assembly of Jewish faith leaders that has ever come together against ICE.

I saw the faces of Jews who sometimes disagree with each other, but who put those disagreements aside to stand for our immigrant neighbors and loved ones.

We did this because we are furious at this administration’s abuse of our communities, because it is a threat to the democracy we need to keep us all safe, and to say in one voice, "Get ICE out of our cities!"

If you are also furious, join me in the next part of our fight:

Join the national call — Jews Against ICE: How to Join the Fight — next week on Thursday, February 19, at 7:30pm ET.

On the call, we’ll share actions you can take from anywhere in the country to stop ICE. If you can’t make it, we’ll still send you resources you can use as we take next steps.

Yesterday in Massachusetts and Minnesota, our Jewish partners protested corporations that enable ICE, including Target and Signature Aviation.

The complicity of corporations is nothing new: As Jews, we remember how IBM made the horrors of the Nazis more efficient with technology to identify and track Jews, how Ford’s vehicles moved their captors from camp to camp, and how Deutsche Bank profited by taking Jewish property to help finance the Holocaust.

Today, we’re demanding Signature Aviation stop making money by helping ICE abduct our neighbors.

Sign the Jewish petition calling for Signature Aviation to stop providing support for ICE flights.

In the Pirkei Avot there is a promise: Mitzvah goreret mitzvah, one good deed leads to another.

Yesterday I watched ordinary people do so many good deeds to protect their neighbors and say no to ICE’s cruelty. And I know that each good deed leads to more people across the nation showing up.

We are Jews Against ICE. We are here for our neighbors. We are here for our democracy. And we are not going anywhere. Thank you for being with us.
