ICE is getting a massive, unprecedented funding increase for their cruel immigration enforcement thanks to Trump’s Big Bad Budget Bill.1 Last week, new stories emerged of the Trump regime’s return to their heinous family separation policies.2 And yesterday, Trump announced his plan to take over D.C. police and call in the National Guard — the latest in his fascist power grab and attempts to make our communities less safe.3
But Jews and allies are rising up to fight back and protect our immigrant families and neighbors.
One of our tactics is Know Your Rights canvasses. During a canvass, we talk to local businesses about how to protect the community from ICE raids, inform people about their rights, and share resources to spread the word.
Our neighbors are grateful and the impact has been incredible. But these canvasses are costly — up to $1,000 for materials for one canvass.
