Join us in the streets and online to fight Trump's cruel agenda

April 28, 2025
“Using the budget-reconciliation process, Republican lawmakers are now preparing to lavish ICE with a colossal funding increase — enough to pay for the kind of social and demographic transformation of the United States that immigration hard-liners have long fantasized about achieving.”1

This week Congress is back from recess, and all of their focus will be on the budget — with committees meeting to discuss what programs to fund or cut.

If Trump and Republicans get their way, we'll likely see increases in mass detention and deportation, funded by cuts to critical services like healthcare and food assistance.

Together, we’re fighting back. There are two ways you can send a clear message right now to oppose Trump’s cruelty:

  1. Join a May Day event in your community to demonstrate unity, solidarity, and power. May Day is a joyful, empowering celebration of workers, immigrants, and all our neighbors — and there are events around the country.

  2. Send a direct message to your members of Congress to say, “Fund communities, not deportation!” Every member of Congress needs to hear from their constituents — demanding they reject all additional funding for Trump’s dangerous agenda.

Whether you join us in the streets for May Day or take digital action to protect our communities, thank you for being part of the Jewish resistance.

In solidarity,
